In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and their two wild boys and beautiful, sweet baby girl! She also enjoys gardening, raising their llamas and cow (or “moo moo”, as her boys like to say!), reading, cooking from scratch & baking sourdough and continuing to work toward fluency in Hebrew & Greek!
My Story
I grew up in Ohio in a ministry home and attended a Christian University, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in music (Vocal Performance, minor in piano), and a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.
I started taking guitar and piano lessons in elementary school. At age 15, I took on my very first music student and it simply grew from there! I have taught hundreds of students over the course of 20 years. During this time, I have created unique teaching material and techniques that have shown to be extremely effective for a wide variety of students, from children to adults. I started leading worship in middle school, developed and led a worship mentorship program at my home church, and have led worship in numerous settings over the past 20 years, at churches, retreats & conferences, church camps & other church events.
In 2013, I moved to Colorado for a worship internship, where I met and married my husband. I started working in full-time worship ministry, then years later, decided to resign & work from home. Since 2015, I have taught private music lessons in-person as well as online (to students across the country as well as students located in different countries). I have taught guitar, piano, ukulele, singing, music theory, audition preparation & worship coaching over the years. Over the past several years, I have heard many people comment that they wished I lived closer to them so they could receive music lessons. These frequent comments eventually got me thinking about expanding the way I offer music lessons.
Over time, Levari Learning was born.
The name Levari comes from two Hebrew words (Lev- meaning heart, Ari - meaning Lion). It is my hope and desire to offer courses, material & training that will teach, encourage and equip people to rise up as Lion Hearts in the midst of a culture of lies, deception & biblical illiteracy. Levari Learning is a learning platform, offering digital resources, one-on-one online music lessons & coaching, as well as on-demand video music lessons for anyone, anytime, anywhere.
I hope that every single person who purchases a course, digital content and material will be blessed and equipped to faithfully walk in the calling God has for their life.
